Happy Christmas. I'm writing from my parents' ranch in Northern California. This morning we got a break from the otherwise stormy weather and walked up the road were we picked some rose hips. Afterward, I set up a mini-studio next to the kitchen, to document our haul.
Brittany and I are quite literally right in the middle of making jelly from the rose hips. It smells curiously like tomato, but the Internet says it's supposed to taste something like hibiscus when it's done.
I hope everyone else had a happy Christmas, and is looking forward to an exciting New Year. I know I am.
